CEO / Director : Michael Anderson
BSG Employment and Training Services is a wholly owned Aboriginal company, with Michael Anderson being the company founder and Chief Executive Officer.
He is a proud Wiradjuri man hailing from south western New South Wales, who has successfully worked in Aboriginal communities, State and Federal agencies and the corporate sector for many years.
He founded the company, established in 2007, with Aboriginal Engagement being one of the company’s core functions and personal goals.
He wanted to provide all Aboriginal people with appropriate and relevant employment, education and training opportunities. And, he saw the best way to achieve that was to engage with corporate Australia. He wanted to provide the missing element for business when it came to Aboriginal engagement. He saw that many well meaning business champions wanted to recruit and employ Aboriginal people but was unable to because they did not have the right company “tools”.
He has been able to create those “company tools” and assist companies by providing Human Resource capacity on Aboriginal engagement as well as assist in sourcing government funding to assist in their endeavours.
He has built his team around skills, knowledge and capacity, which he knows are needed to assist with providing access, opportunities and choice to Corporate identities, various government agencies and communities.
